Here are a few images of Joy - one of our most favorite brides!  Joy came in with her mom a while back to look for a wedding gown.  She had something picked out at David’s Bridal but wasn’t nuts about it.  She felt the other gown was nice, but it was kinda lackluster.  Ya know, missing the OMG! vibe.

So her mom scheduled her an appointment to come and Belle’s Bridal Boutique in Abilene, Texas.  I remember the two of them at their bridal appointment perfectly.  Joy’s mom was so laid back and relaxed.  She was really able to enjoy the experience of shopping for a wedding gown with her daughter.  I only hope I’ll act like that with my daughter when the time comes!

The gown below was one of the first gowns I pulled for Joy.  The lace is stunning!  And Joy opted to add a little more of the subtle glitter (sequins) to the skirt of the gown.  The sequins were hand sewn onto the skirt and it really added a bit of pop in the sunlight.

Joy looked so stunning in her gown!  And since I know seeing is believing, I posted a couple of her bridal portraits here.

Joy was married at Lylte Cove Wedding Cottage (which btw - is such an awesome wedding location it deserves its own post).  Ginger at Lylte Cove is awesome.  More to come on that later.  ;o)
