Sounds kinda boastful, I know. But I was a bride shopping in this area of Texas in the recent past, and trying to find a designer wedding gown around here - OMG! There is nothing here, unless you wanna look like a David’s Bridal clone. Nope. Not me. I wanted a simple Thomasina ball gown. So pretty and plain and perfect.

Guess what? No one around here sold that brand. Not even in Dallas. So I went to New York. Why not, right? It’s for a wedding gown. I also went to Dallas, wanderd around lost, and finally ended up at Angie’s Bridal in Abilene, Texas. Outa all places to end up, right? Angie took time with me, listened to what I was looking for, and found the perfect gown. That part always impressed me. It didnt matter if I was in New York or Dallas - there is something about small town America and the people’s care that made buying my wedding gown in Abilene a wonderful experience.

Last August, Angie’s Bridal closed when Angie retired. And the shop was just sitting there…and I know there are no designer gowns in this area. So we bought Angie’s Bridal, and began taking the great things about her business - she LOVED her customers - and then added the elements of fine New York boutiques. At 1st I thought we’d just be a nice little boutique for those in the Abilene area. But nope. Our brides drive to Abilene from the Metroplex (Dallas & surrounding suburbs).
